Wybalena Organic Farm
Step into a world of serenity and natural beauty at Wybalena... The gorgeous farm style accommodations are a sanctuary for the soul; a space that invites you to unwind, reconnect and create.
Located on 170 acres within the Byron Bay Hinterland, Wybalena is a purpose built retreat venue set amongst serene countryside and untouched bushland.
Accomodation
Main House Rooms
Four bedrooms down the hallway include two rooms with king beds and ensuites and two rooms with double beds and shared bathroom, plus reverse cycle air conditioning & fans for comfort.
Large glass windows showcase beautiful country views and wrap around verandas that flow onto the magnesium pool, infrared sauna, Odin ice bath and outdoor firepit.
Garden Rooms
Located in a separate building just a short walk from The Main House, The Garden Rooms are the perfect oasis for guests wanting a self contained and private space.
Four identical bedrooms surrounded by lush gardens each with own entrance, double bed, farmhouse style ensuite, plus reverse cycle air conditioning and ceiling fan for comfort. Also a shared deck to enjoy the sunshine and fresh country air.
Gumnut Cabins
Cabins 1, 2 & 3 have an identical layout with two bedrooms (one queen bed & one double bed) with built in wardrobes, a shared modern bathroom, livingroom with TV, kitchen, dining table. With reverse cycle air conditioning in the main living spaces and pedestal fans in the bedrooms.
Each cabin has a large private deck to enjoy the country views.

Nope! Whether you’ve never written a song or a hundred, this retreat is for anyone looking to develop their craft, collaborate, and gain industry insight.

All genres are welcome! Our mentors come from different musical backgrounds, so you’ll get diverse perspectives and songwriting techniques.

Yes! Each attendee will have a private 1-hour session with one of our industry songwriters, plus co-writing opportunities throughout the retreat.

Come solo or with friends—it’s up to you! Many attendees come alone and leave with new collaborators.

Wyabalena is located in The Pocket, NSW in the Byron Bay hinterland, approximately a 50 min drive from the Gold Coast.

A notebook, instrument (if you play one), chargers, comfy clothes, and an open mind. We’ll handle the rest!
Oh and there is a sauna, swimming pool and ice bath if you dare!
